C2, I worry powell was misled and may feel stung today. Anyone who reads bin ladens statement knows that there is no love lost between him and saddam and this is just a temporary marriage. Powell by saying it was more brings what he presented at the UN into question for some on the left. Something went wrong yesterday. It started when Powell had advance warning of a bin laden tape at al jazzeera and al jazeeera denied it. Perhaps he got an incorrect transcript either accidentally or on purpose. mike
