Ordered ONE replacement cartridge? The wasted cost of that delivery is tremendous, on both sides of the transaction. Christ, the guy would've probably saved money by running out to Costco.

What is gas and time worth?

I ordered my last HP Print Cartridge via Amazon.com
amazon.com
It took a few days but saved a trip to the store and time in line. Shipping is free also.

What does Costco Charge for it? Add in tax, gas and time in line plus the $50 you spend on other stuff you don't really need... :)

The business model to make money on these isn't that tough.. Take the order via the computer, have it print out a shipping label and drop the cartridge in the mail. I'd think it is just as good a thing to ship as DVDs, CDs and Books which has been quite profitable for Amazon.com for some time.
