I have said it before and will say it again. If the US invades Iraq it will not be long before we long for the "good old days" with Saddam in power. BTW, has anybody noticed that US troops are bogged down in Afghanistan and the Russians still have not won in Cechnya after 6 years and thousands of soldiers killed. The ouster of Saddam will mark just stage one of a very long struggle that will cost the US heavily in blood and treasure IMHO.
