In January, AO MOSENERGO generated more electricity and heat than a year ago

Last month, AO MOSENERGO power plants generated 5,805.7 mln kWt-h of electricity. This is 7.2% more than in January last year.

In January, AO MOSENERGO produced 11,538,900 GCal of heat, which is 12.3% more than in January 2002.

The increase in power generation was mainly caused by colder weather. In January 2003, air temperatures in Moscow region were on average –7.4° while in January 2002, air temperature was around –4.8°
