Typical liberal. NOBODY owes anyone anything. Parents owe their children respect, morals, ethics, an education, food and shelter. He provided all of the above except neither parent seems to have distilled the ethics or moral part. Or she just doesn't get it.
Do you expect 40M from your parents???? Should we all? Or do we all sit and wait for the govment to provide, I forget which?
Wake up and smell the coffee. We are what we make of ourselves.

If I were King here...I would completely eliminate about half or more of our so called 'laws.' Dave didn't mention the ones that govern what you can't do in your own bedroom.
But most sit by and let it happen, instead of participating in the process. I don't....I've been a Republican State delegate for the past 4 times. I work in someone's campaign every year. I have sat on two juries...neither important because that's all I've been chosen for.
Our country is progressively losing ground in the ethics and values area...to labor for what we earn. With rediculous jury awards, lotteries, etc. the masses believe the short cut is the right way to riches. I've worked since I was in Jr. High...I am VERY comfortable, but I hope to work until I die. I enjoy being productive, and I have little respect for those who seek the easy way.
