thats silly and you know it. FICA taxes are merely a part of the costs of obtaining personnel. Adding 12K/year to the cost of hiring someone just means corp X hires less people. Its not like Michael Dell is taking the money out if his own personal bank acct to pay Susie secretary's fica. Fica is a huge cost on US corps and citizens intended to placate one very vocal special interest group, senior citizens. Most seniors get much, much more out of that stupid system than they ever put in. Not true my generation, we are all being soaked. If republicans wanted true tax reform they would attack fica first. But they don't, because it is regressive and they are afraid of the senior constituency.
