America is strong because it is the champion of freedom and the free enterprise system. What teach people flock to is fair delaing and prosperity. Our State Socialist military industrial-complex as the solution to perceived problems is anal-retentive dogmatism that goes against the grain of the age we are entering and the constitutional democracy we defend.

Yes, Saddam is a dictatorial ass hole who suppresses centuries of tribal rivalries of the various peoples in what has artificially been configured as Iraq. yea, and N. Korea is a troublesome state that would sooner starve it's people than join the free world toward greater prosperity. Uhuh, and what has changed about that recently? Nothing but the level of rhetoric spewed from the right wing radicals who have swayed the very virtuous and well meaning but limited intellect of our President. The problems are complex and will take time, blowing them away with smart bombs is not the answer. In the wake of our military industrial complex haste to avenge the mistakes of 9/11 we are ruining the economic recovery, turning opinion of America as a leader of democracy and free enterprise into that of our being a bully state ready to run over anyone who doesn't agree. Bush could well win the battle in Iraq and lose the war against terrorism and world wide opinion and cooperation.

Oh, I guess our troupes will get restless if we wait a year or two to depose Saddam on the credence of accepted mandates and with the backing of worldwide opinion.

Terrorism is no more a threat today than it was two years ago. Getting at it and rooting it out will take smart people more than smart bombs.

Let's just nuke Saddam. And Nuke Iran, And nuke North Korea. Might as well nuke Malaysia while we're at it. Kill all the bastards, make 'em fry and eat their innards with mustard sauce. Were the only ones righteous enough to have weapons of mass destruction and we've paid a holy war tribute to have them . . . we damn well ought to use them. That'll teach anyone who doesn't think like us or we just don't like at the momment (remember when Saddam was our great ally against Iran?) not to mess with the good old U.S. of A.
