Bush could well win the battle in Iraq and lose the war against terrorism and world wide opinion and cooperation.

You wrote a lot of words, presented your opinion, but stopped short of giving any factual analysis.

If we win the war in Iraq it will be a substantial chunk of the war against terrorism. That, combined with the major progress we've made against Al Queda will make us all a great deal safer. That is, after all, the objective, is it not?

Terrorism is no more a threat today than it was two years ago.

Certainly it is less of a threat today. While there are still almost as many who want to do us harm, they will have a much tougher time doing it today than they did on 9/11. This is because of the leadership of George Bush.

You can criticize the Bush administration. However, no amount of criticism will obliterate the cold, hard fact that the previous administration had Bin Laden handed to him and flatly refused to take the opportunity. No amount of criticism will obliterate the cold, hard fact that the inept previous administration (in connection with Jimmy Carter) bears absolute and total responsibility for the crisis in North Korea today.

Criticize the Right. But remember who protects you -- and remember who defers your interests to those of other nations and to their own personal interests.
