What facts are you providing?
"If we win the war in Iraq it will be a substantial chunk of the war against terrorism" How is that? How is Iraq spreading terror around the world? Where? How? They are largely hated by fundamentalist Islamics who are the main proponents of terrorism. A state has government and cohesive power groups who want, above all else, to remain in power. An Islamic underground has no state sponsorship, not even Saddam's Iraq as far as we can show. Take out Saddam and it changes next to nothing about Bin Laden and other underground terrorist groups. Why, Bin Laden is so underground we can't even get him rooted out despite blowing the hell out of Afghanistan and chasing him all over the hills and caves we thought he was hiding. We have to infiltrate those groups and root them out. Spending $120 billion and bullying our way with our allies is no way to win the greater war. We need far more consensus building imo.
