Cacaito,

Is Baxter or Mlnm selling to recover their million$ !!!

Perhaps, but it's certainly not clear from the volume figures. In the past month there have only been three days where trading exceeded a million shares. Two of those days were down (3 cents and 30 cents). The Third day was up nearly 60 cents.

Although Xoma closed one penny less than $3 I don't yet view this as a convincing break of the $3 support level. I think if closing share price sinks to to $2.85-$2.90 we will likely see the stock price go down to nearly $2.00/share, a share price not seen since 1999.

I believe the three dollar support level is particularly important to Xoma. This would appear to be the level where even die-hard enthusiasts throw in the towel, cry uncle and cut their losses.

Of course, a compelling press release with some substance could change all this at anytime.

Oddly enough, Ligand appears to be in free-fall even though they have marketed products with a good possibility of multiple applications. This strongly suggests to me that Elan is slowly dumping their lGND shares. Just my guess.
