Karen...Do you remember how many times I posted this link to the 1999 US House of Representatives Report on North Korea ...??? No one seemed concerned about it then....The report was made by a Sub Committee to the House...the sub committee folks were mostly Republicans, so the reigning feeling seemed to be "oh well, it's just the Republicans beating the drum"...ETC....
I posted the article in 2001 as well as 2002...and I believe 2000 as well...If SI's search engine was what it used to be, I could confirm that.
There are many things quite disturbing about this report, IMO....and one of them certainly is that NK has had the ability to send "stuff" over here for several years. PLUS, one now wonders WHAT other countries are buying their WMD...Iraq couldn't do it legally....my guess is that that didn't stop him.
Hopefully, people will look at this report, remember that it was made BEFORE the National Election and BEFORE 9-11..
This is not a partician issue. It is an issue of National consequence, again IMO. And we'd, ALL us, better start paying attention.
