Thats probably the best way of describing it.

Explain to me (because I am not aware) what was done by US to help euro-terrorism during Baader-Meinhoff, Red Brigade etc days, and especially in the aftermath of the terrorist event during the Munich Olympics in 1972.

I acknowledge that US did help dilute the IRA activities, but to many that was not "terrorism", that was "liberation forces".
