I'm sorry but your refusing to make a logical argument. The closest you come to one would be something like -

(assumed premise) If there have been a number of recent terrorist attacks then we have not captured or killed a lot of Al Qaeda.

There have been a number or recent terrorist attacks.

Therefore - We have not captured or killed a lot of Al Qaeda.

Then I point out that the first assumed premise is not true. Your response is to strengthen your argument for the 2nd premise. Logically it doesn't matter how strong the second premise is if the first premise is false. You have to make your case for the 1st premise not the 2nd. I'm not disputing the 2nd.
