Congress voted to surrender its responsibilities under the constitution to declare war in the context of Iraq. Period. If Congress had voted as you suggest, we would be in a technical state of war NOW. We are not. re: and now the Democrats want to try and weasel out of it. Quite the contrary. Indeed, aside from these few Democrats, they're among the spineless miscreants that abandoned their responsibilities to hide behind the president's skirts. They're no happier at this prospect than you. LOL!
