Thank you for the heads up to the National Review article. I apologize for being to late in responding but I have been tied up for the past couple of weeks. The comments auger well for the long term. However, it appears that Greenspan's renewed interest in gold did little for the short term - not to be expected. The action of the market during the past week will have confirmed the bullish long-term view if it continues to recover from the hit and I think it will. There were a lot of gurus pointing to the extreme size of the long position of the speculators and short position of the commercials as a clear indication that the market was over bought. The was to be expected but the fundamentals haven't changed and they appear to put a solid foundation under the bull case - at least, I hope so.

I'll update the Baron's GMI in a response to this post.

Larry
