Ted, so it's your belief that had we not been focusing on Iraq that Al Qaeda wouldn't be as big a threat as it is today?

That's really easy to say for someone who has a bone to pick with the current administration.

You need a wake up call. Not all of us are employed by a large corporation that has so far been able to cushioned its layoffs. The economy is much worse than the numbers would suggest. Tourism in Seattle and most places on the West coast are way off........on the tube right now, they're are saying the same for the East coast. People are afraid to fly, to move about, to make plans for the future etc.

You understand that the goal of the terrorists is not to blow up our landmarks one by one; instead, its to so freak us out that are way of life begins to falter and our economic well being begins to suffer. And its working slowly but surely. You all say Bush can't do nada about the economy....I disagree. He could shut his fukking mouth up and start doing the job he has been elected to do.

It is absolutely critical that al Qaeda be hurt as much as possible asap. Iraq is a minor blib on the screen.......contain the sucker and let's move on. The world is turning against your position. Accept it, admit you were wrong and move on. Its not just a matter of ego or who's right or wrong; its for the well being of this country.
