You think that removing Saddam Hussein will reduce tension in the middle east. Your post shows how little you know about the area. Tension between the Kurds, the Sunnis and the Shia has existed at least since the end of WW 1 when the British created Iraq out of the old Ottoman Empire. The removal of Hussein will allow this tension to explode. The Kurds want their own state. Turkey is opposed to that. The majority Shia will seek revenge on the people who murder half a million of them while the US stood by and watched. There will be resentment at the presence of the US. Count on Wahhabis from Saudi Arabia and Yemen to get involved.
