Did you read what I said? How is Germany flexing their muscles, and disrupting NATO, showing their solidarity for NATO?

Some members of Nato could very well go with them, France and Belgium, Russia, however, the rest so far are on the US side. How on earth is that going to show Germany's solidarity with NATO. Secondly, only the US has the technology, and the economic power to carry it off. France and Germany put in 1% of their GNP into defense, whereas the US puts in 6%. Both countries would have to put in 10 times as much as they are currently, because they currently have a small populations comparatively,and currently have small armies, and need to catch up. With Germany's pacifist population, I doubt if Germany could even build enough nukes to counter China, or N Korea. . And if the US pulls out their nuclear umbrella, they are history anyway if Russia decides to finish the job on Germany. Thirdly, a lot of the new members of NATO just got out from under Russia's thumb, I doubt if they would want to go there again. Maybe Germany and France think the US is a bully, but what do you think Poland thinks of the USSR. Fourthly, how could they possibly even think about going undefended when OBL is deciding who is the weakest, and is deciding which country needs a muslim gov.. Germany already has a lot of Al qaeda cells, it shouldn't take too long to scare the hell out of them.
What would happen if the US pulled back to the US to defend itself, and told OBl. You blow us up with WMD, and you and your host country are glass; however, if you want Germany, be my guest. Who do you think will be scared shitless then? Germany is only alive and independent, because the US put our lives, money and power on the line to ensure it. Germany France and Belgium right now, don't have the power to go it alone, against the Islamic fundamentalists,or Russia,or China, or the US. Even if every member of Nato, but the US and Russia, joined together, they wouldn't have the power of the US or Russia. There are worse things out there than being bullied by the US. Especially since allowing themselves to be bullied by the US the last fifty yrs, also allowed them to become the 3rd greatest economic power on earth. They could have been bullied by Russia for the last fifty, and have become the 160th economic power on earth. Almost every one of us, gets bullied by our employer every day, and we take it, just to have a job, and earn a living. And how many teens, don't feel bullied by their parents. Taking orders is a fact of life, very few of us escape. Germany and France as junior members of NATO, and certainly had to take orders at times, in order for NATO to present a solid front, just as members of a football team have to take orders.
