I did not mean to imply that the U.S. dollar doesn't have the potential to strengthen in the short or intermediate term. It may or may not.

I disagreed with the idea that Europe has bigger problems than the U.S. The article that Ag pointed to summarizes the very serious, self-inflicted problems the United States is facing.

As a service based economy that doesn't produce a lot of worthwhile material goods, there isn't a lot propping up the country and its economy, except a lot of smoke, mirrors, empty shells, hot air, and a runaway free credit scheme.

Do you believe the world will endure a catastrophic depression and a world war during the next 10 years?

Let's remember, they can't hide the truth as easily as they once did.

BTW, I strongly agree with you regarding all fiat currencies.
