True story. When Bush was finally declared the winner in Florida in 2000, my wife told me this: "the market will rally for 2 days, and then the economy and market will go down the toilet for the next 4 years."

She refused to give me the reasons for her thinking, but so far her prediction has been so accurate, it is scary, and sad.
