And in answer to the question in my mind as well, why didn't parents in the Vietnam era do the same? They did file suit, and here's why they lost.Bonifaz said similar lawsuits filed by soldiers during the Vietnam War were unsuccessful. But he said those lawsuits failed because the courts found Congress had taken concrete steps to authorize a war, including appropriating money and authorizing the draft.

Clearly Bush has forgotten to cover his butt.
