Mars, some committee rotate alphabetically, such as the UN Security Council which is composed of 15 members, five of which have veto power and permanent membership to that committee. Other committees also rotate alphabetically. This is true also of the UN Disarmament Committee.

The Human Rights Committee gets its chair by regions of the world rotating, with each region selecting its own representative who will fill the chair.
