Nice mention of ASKJ today in Morningstar (Time to acknowledge that posts from 1999-2000 are pretty much irrelevant and immaterial)

biz.yahoo.com

Another online business model that has worked surprisingly well is "pay-for-placement" search engines, where advertisers pay to get their Web site higher placement in search results. I once mentally lumped such companies in with all the other silly business models that came and went with the Internet bubble. But the leader in the field, Overture (NasdaqNM:OVER - News) (formerly GoTo.com), has been profitable for more than a year and has a $1.2 billion market cap. Several other pay-for-placement companies, including Ask Jeeves (NasdaqNM:ASKJ - News) and FindWhat.com (NasdaqSC:FWHT - News), have recently become profitable as well.
