What about the other question. If we established beyond a doubt that Saddam has a lot of hidden WMD (chemical and bio weapons) and is working hard on nukes and was perhaps 5 to 10 years away, would you support removing Saddam? In other words is it really "Give the inspectors a chance", or is it no intervention in Iraq under any circumstances?


My comment about the money is that its too late......Bush is bent on war. He's moved all the necessary troops to that arena. Its pretty much a done deal.

As for no war at any cost, that's not my position at all. If and when we see a true material breach, then I would say Saddam either get rid of it or prepare to have your ass beat. However, a material breach is not a missile that goes ten miles farther than prescribed by the UN resolution when its guidance system is not attached as Powell would like us to believe. A material breach is when the US is truly at risk, and frankly, based on what the inspectors have said to date, I don't think we will find that kind of breach.
