"they can't afford to live on one salary." I don't think you are quailfied to say the above statement unless you have personally seen there finances... Case in pt, a friend of mine just had a baby last year and both work. They are 35 and 38 in age, own the title to their house and a duplex in a college town. She drives a 92 Accord with over 150K and he a 97 F150. You would never know how secure they are unless you knew them personally. They are currently saving to purchase a vacation home in Maine.
