Thomas,

Excellent point. I didn't buy any more shares yet, and maybe I should wait a little longer. Of course, market timing is not one of my strong points. It would not suprise me to see this stock drop in the near term. I also subscribe to the Motley Fool Airline update, and the analyist there wonders if Atlas has bigger problems than just those 5 Fed Ex planes. But all in all, she believes that they are just experiencing growing pains.

I have the same time horizion as you do, if not longer. I'm looking out into the next century, and I agree that 23 looks like a great bargain.

As for the rest of the year, I predict we won't see a whole lot of price movement. I don't believe ATLS will drop below 20, the analyists have made their earnings adjustments, but I don't think they will break 30 either. They can't get rid of the Fed Ex planes until the end of the year, and they only plan on getting 1 or 2 more additional planes this year (please correct me if I'm wrong). Maybe December would be a good time to hoard in some more shares. ATLS might endure some selling pressures for tax season, and 1998 seems like it's going to be a good year.

Agree or disagree??
