I am NOT in favor of Wahabism, and I am not defending the radicals. Most muslims do not understand the difference we tend to make between normal muslims and radical muslims.

It is seen as an anti muslim attitude on our part.

Put yourself in their shoes : if you are amongst 6M (Nadine corrected me to say 2-3M), amongst a population of 280M, that looked at you with suspicion every day, what would you do ? Me, I'd do mail order for everything I need, and just stay at home. Less contact with others means less headaches.

Heres a practical idea : Invite a muslim friend/family to your place for the evening, and have a chat with them. After thats done, tell us how you feel about muslims.
just make sure theres no pork/bacon etc on the menu.
