an oxymoron
I know this is difficult for you to understand, but it goes like this: the UN enforces its own resolution = No Unilateral Action necessary. Nothing contradictory. Unless you just don't know what the definition of "oxymoron" is.
2) "They have BLOCKED votes to prepare for the defense of Turkey TWICE. No proof?" They blocked for consultations until after the Brix report.
No, they cancelled discussion until after the Blix report, after BLOCKING a vote twice. That's called a STALL because they were taking HEAT.
3) "Keep your Israel-baiting to yourself, thank you." you have selective debate techniques.
And you engage in typical Israel-baiting subject switching. Get over it, get something to talk about.
Suggest you read an unbiased translation of what France has said. Give me a break.
Like it or not Israel's present policies and the US response to these policies are ,in large part, to blame for the anti-American feelings and the rise of Islamic fundamentalism in the ME. Which is also why many ME countries don't support the US as they did in 91 in spite of their desire to get rid of Saddam.
Which has ZERO to do with Saddam and his obligations under 1441. Get an issue. It's easy to dismiss anything I have to say as being the result of reading "biased American press", as if the BBC and Le Monde are American press, or having nothing else to say switch to "but Israel!" but it doesn't address the CENTRAL issue: Iraq is in direct and continuing violation of its cease fire terms and 17 UNSC resolutions calling for its UNCONDITIONAL disarmament. 1441 DEMANDS Iraq disarm, and that is the final chance. It hasn't, and it's time to call it set match. France and Germany are DIRECTLY blocking holding Iraq to its responsibilities. It is their position that "war is failure", totally ignoring that inspections for inspections sake, in the face of Iraqi non-compliance, IS FAILURE RIGHT NOW.
