I think you are okay this time, but you just barely made it out alive from the sound of it. Those hookahs may have been gas generators. Just don't make a habit of it the future.

I love ethnic food. My current favorite is either Mexican or Indian, followed by Chinese depending upon my mood. I've heard of a great Afghani place nearby called Khyber. Apparently, Afghani food is a lot like Indian, but less spicy - that would be good for the spousal unit.
