Bloviating pundits make plenty of silly pronouncements in general, it sort of goes with the territory. Fisk isn't a pundit. He claims to be a reporter. Last time I checked reporting involved reporting things that had already happened, with some regard for the truth. Pundits analyse affairs and make predictions, a job with a naturally lower hit rate. That Nadine happens to have a personal vendetta against Fisk doesn't really make him that exceptional My personal vendetta invented the term "Fisking", widely in use across the blogosphere? I'm very flattered, I'm sure.
