JO,

Have you also thought about the costs if Saddam actually has a program ?

He may not have such an advanced program as Bush would have us believe, the truth may be somewhere in between...

Euphoria in either direction is very detrimental to the health and well being of the world, but I bet that is exactly what is going to happen.

If there is no war, then, we'll tend to lunge to the other side and declare him innocent...or at least reasonably innocent....and forget him over the years...

Because of Bush's war mongering, we have lost the opportunity of addressing this issue in a measured way. It has been a disaster in foreign policy....and may well lead to a world disater in the future.

In the absence of war, US will have been exposed as a 'Boy Who Shouts Wolf'.....And that in itself is pretty scary.
