Well, luckily there were russian equipment which could take the Afghanistan climate
and heights, for the americans.

But remembering the glory days of Pravda and Isvestija, and these days of ABC,NBC,etc, the
four wonders of commercial news, additionally especially CNN and FOX, you have a point in
your comparisons.

Funny thing, Pravda and Isvestija were actually more reliable in those days.

The american contemporary productions even beats the best the Hitler administration
could come up with. (nothing new, as true segration was so much stronger in USA)
