Well I don't have a mistress, been faithful to my wife going on 14 years..... However recently she's been wondering about that...
2 weeks ago I lost my wedding ring, it was about 20F outside, general consensus is it fell off due to the cold. My 3 year old eventually found it in the garage.
A few days after I lose the ring, the kids find a hair pin in our bedroom. Wife doesn't put hair pins in her hair, as a matter of fact, I don't know anyone that does.
So evidence is adding up like I'm having an affair. It was all put to rest yesterday, first of all I've been wearing that ring for so long that I have a permanent indentation in my finger, taking the ring off to appear single is useless, its obvious there's a ring missing from the finger.
The hair pin, well we just ripped out the baseboards and tore up the carpet in the bedroom, maybe it tumbled out of the dust and belonged to the previous owner.
Anyway so what, statistics show that the average French male has 2 mistresses. I didn't get around to the first one yet........ |
