Don Earl, Both the attack on the WTC, and the anthrax mailings, were not domestically planned, but were carried out by terrorists that had taken advantage of our lax, and fairly incompetent, border guards. There are tens of thousands of foreigners in this country on expired student visas, and visitor's visas, that have gone underground, and a certain number of them are just lying in wait for the opportunity to strike again. One talent that the arabs have, is patience. They are willing to take decades to prepare an attack, and wait for the perfect time to launch it. That has been true throughout history.
If you actually think that the attacks were perpetrated by U.S. government officials, you are not using your little grey matter. Why send anthrax to a nondescript employee of a dirt rag?? Republicans would not be so dumb as to send anthrax to a democrat congressman. That would be far too obvious, and since it was Daschle, would be counter productive. Republican's need to have Daschle around to prove to the nation how stupid, and ineffective, democrats can be.
One of the easiest ways for any terrorist to get into this country unnoticed, is through Canada, who doesn't give a damn who they let into the U.S. The cooperation between them, and us, has caused the borders to leak like a sieve. Another very easy way, is to infiltrate through Mexico. The border patrol is spread much to far apart, and we haven't built that 20' high wall, that is needed, yet.
The middle Eastern countries are not as hospitable as we are, much to our detriment. Think about it, we don't make any fuss about muslim women running around our nation in those burkas, and veils, but any woman from America is forced to cover their native clothing with arabian rags. Every male of western origin, is looked on with suspicion. We should return that sort of feeling toward them, but we are foolishly too lenient in our views. Our immigration policies need to be severely tightened. If foreigners are so damned smart, they don't need to be allowed to study in America. Turn them away!!! If they don't want to lighten up on their dress code in our nation, turn them away!! What are we?? The benevolent society of the world?? That's bullshit.
Not all people are goal oriented. Looking into your own greedy heart does not give you a clear image of the rest of the people on Earth. The muslim terrorists are goal oriented, but have only on goal in life. That is to destroy every human being that is not, and refuses to become, a muslim. We are tolerant. They are not. We do not murder women for minor sins. They do. Just who do you want to be affiliated with? If you prefer the muslim way, that gives us a much better insight as to just how far off your rocker you really are. |
