When Christ encountered wrong behavior, as in the gamblers in the Temple, what did he do? Modern day new-age thinking is good at only focusing on certain aspects of Christ's teaching and ignoring the God of the old Testament who was also a God of judgment -- and will be again when He returns. I tend to think that most people's religion today only focuses on the positive things that will allow them to continue doing whatever makes them feel good at the moment. "Don't judge anyone else." "Don't say there is only one way to Heaven." "Accept everyone's belief's if they are sincere." "Don't be divisive." We have gay ministers. Ministers who say the Bible is simply fictional stories to illustrate points. Mary was not a virgin. Christ did not rise from the dead. Jesus was simply a good teacher. Everyone is a god. Nature is god. This reasoning will prove to be man's ultimate doom. The verse that speaks of how narrow the way to Heaven is has never been illustrated better than today. People, for the most part, believe just the opposite -- everyone is going to the same place unless you are a truly evil person. Why believe in anything if there is no absolute authority to go to for answers?
