If you tell your children that they may continue to live in your home but they must sleep in the garage, may only eat out of the garbage cans, and must listen to music of your choice blasted at them 24/7, and they leave, you may try to take the moral high ground of saying that you didn't kick them out, they chose to leave.

Okay, answer this. If Saddam had fully and completel complied with all UN resolutions and all UN inspectors since 1991, and had openly proved to the world without any shadow of doubt that he had no WMD at all and no programs to produce them, do you honestly believe Bush would be threatening war now?

i didn't think so.

Iraq has defied what you call "civilized law" in defying over a period of years the demands of the UN. Iraq can't now try to hide behind the shield of "civilized law."
