apologize for being so picky. But that CNN/BBC transcript was the smoking gun. And that's where i say "wow" we got proof. But the internet is so filled with groups with an agenda that toss out highly questionable "news" i will slam ruthlessly it even if it be "seemingly' a bit of fuel favoring my position against starting this war. It is all part my of inner campaign to destroy "Cognitive Dissonance" in my own self in which one starts to believe anything one wishes to believe. I can state whoever is passing that misinformation regards Iraq did not gas the Kurds be communicating a vicious lie,period. Which i now warn there is a major group in the protest movement called "The Answer", for whom i say to hell with them. They are in fact rooted in Stalinism, they have a major agenda. Also they are so bizarre they say Milosevic is being cruelly scape-goated and should be set free. They don't simply protest this war they, underneath all their noise are actually pro-Saddam, rather than leave him alone. Having been a fierce activist in the 60s i am keenly aware of the agenda groups that jump in to these movements. Now the Black panthers being photographed waving their little red sayings of Mao book was a staged joke. Bobby Seale will tell you that, he will tell you they hadn't even read the damn thing and could care less about it. It was all part there let's "scare" those whiteboys, guerilla theater. But there was a serious Maoist group involved in the movement of which i vigorously denounced. And it was sad to to see even Phil Ochs even get roped into it; but Phil had become a 24/7 alcoholic by then and wasn't making sense on a lot of things--he was in a fog most the time. I view the "The Answer" group in the same vein, they are fanatics. And they churn stuff out like Saddam Hussein did not gas the Kurds, abundantly.Max
