Steve: If they do that then we ought to adopt the strategy of the viet cong and NVA. They never controlled any of the cities, except during a portion of the TET offensive, yet they controlled the countryside. I guess we all know who won. Way I see it, we controll a HUGE HUNK of IRAQ and set up a government, IF its true that most IRAQUI'S would prefer NOT to be under Saddam, I would think they would come to us not us to them. There are about 5 million people in Baghdad, how long can they last without food supplies coming in constantly? Personally, I see no reason for us to play into Saddams hand. jdn
