Men can and do twist the words of God. When Christ was show the prostitute, his example showed clearly how sinners should be treated. "I will not condemn you, go and sin no more" I cannot fathom how anyone could put to death a person for some belief or for any sins between consenting adults. I know one can find examples of those who call themselves Christians killing for all kinds of reasons. I ask can you find an example of Our Lord killing. In a religion, the newest revelation is the most important and if it is opposite earlier words, it overrides them.
