Kumar. You said...." If 20 Hindus/Christians/Sikhs/<whatever> did a crime of equivalent significance, would one be right in blaming the whole faith ? '..... IMO. If the rest of whatever faith did not openly condemn the actions of the twenty then yes the entire faith must except some blame. Also if whatever faith has in it's written structure verses that tell followers to kill innocent people and that religion does not change violent verses then yes they must all except some blame.
