Amazing day in SF! What an eclectic assembly of people, all of them very nice. The weather was beautiful, and I've no idea how many marchers there were, but at several times we had to completely stop, because there were so many people. I took about 70 pictures- some of them a skateboarder took for me, from where he was sitting on the top of a bus stop. I can't wait to see those- since from the ground all one could see were the placards in the immediate vicinity. I even took some pictures of the friendly SF policemen. I wanted to show the kids in my class that the police CAN be our friends. One of them made a little peace sign for my camera :-) I'm having three sets of pictures made, and one set I'm putting up in my class.
