"Sorry, I meant to post the previous post to tcmay...humble carl "
Please don't send me your foaming rants. You were quite happy about Intel, Cisco, etc. a few years ago when I met you at the lunch Paul Engel arranged.
Nothing substantive has changed since then, substantive in a causal sense. The tech recession has of course had a major effect on valuations, but Intel is managed by the same people who managed it in 2002, in 2001, in 2000, and in 1999. A minor change happened in 1998 when Grove retired, but basically the management has remained unchanged for many years.
For whatever reasons, you have taken in recent weeks to ranting, to using expletives, to referring to Intel as crooks, and to sending weird rants to people.
Please don't. Rant here if you wish, but no private rants, please.
If you have something substantive or even arguable to say, do so. But merely referring to Intel management as "crooks" is silly.
I wish Intel stock were higher. I wish a lot of stocks I own were higher. But having them low does not generally cause me to make baseless accusations that the management of these companies is made up of crooks.
Get help.
