The sheep, my boy, are on the other side of this question and they are running scared.

Given the oft-repeated, in fact almost invariable, failure of the "world community" to react to invasions and threats to peace, why should it be entitled to consideration?

Where was the "world community" when China invaded Tibet? When Pol Pot killed millions? When North Vietnam invaded South Vietnam? Where was that band of heroes then?

It's a tough neighborhood out there and you peaceniks had better realize it.
