.How close are Iraq and Iran right now?

They are watching our fight with Saddam with interest, don't like the fact that we are coming in, and trying to figure out how they can profit by the outcome. They want to lead the Shiites in the south, but the Shiites in Iraq are Tribal enough that they really don't want to be run by Iran. A lot of what happens with the Iraqi Shiites vs Iran depends on how they come out in the power struggle when we liberate Iraq.

The big news in Iran is that the Mullahs caved and released the Mullah they had sentenced to death. The Students are winning at the moment.

We have the following problems with them. They are trying to develop a Nuke, they are providing a safe haven for Al Qaeda, and they are supporting Hizbollah. Other than that, they are fine. :>)
