When the US entered WWII with Pearl Harbor, do you or anyone here, know if FDR and Cabinet had an "endgame", other than to safeguard Americans? Same when America entered WWII in Europe? Was there an "endgame" then, other than winning?


Great question, KLP. The end game is winning. Iraq is the second large scale battle of this war not the war in itself. I understand why Bush cannot put Iraq into a larger context (next Saudi Arabia and Syria) because it would really incite the situation but I wish the public conversation about Iraq was little more sensible on the big picture. I don't often get what I wish for though.
