That is very irritating that 1000 people chose to misbehave. But I commend the 199,000 who did not, or the 249,000 who did not. As I marched, I could see families with babies, moms with kids, and the "sisters for peace"- who were 60 years of age and up. It was a lovely atmosphere where I was. The policemen lining our route were friendly and relaxed, and I took pictures of them, because I thought they were such a nice example of what police can be. One of them flashed me a peace sign. :-)

I have never seen so many people in one place in my entire life.
