Andy Rooney really scalded the french in his piece last night. He called Charles DeGaulle "pompous" when he marched in the victory march after the allies liberated France. He said that he (Andy Rooney) has a right to oppose Bush and his war policies, but the French forfeited their right to oppose war, after they layed down for the Germans in WWII after 20 minutes and waited for the allies to bail them out.

Gotta agree with that.
