I don’t follow CE but here are my comments.

The fundamentals look good. ROE and Profit margin around 15%, little debt, lots of cash, PEG ratio less than 1.0 and insiders seem to be buying.

However to quote some technical analyst “ Stock analysts lie, CEOs lie, Annual reports lie, but stock charts don’t lie.” On Thursday the stock dove on 10 times average volume. Wouldn’t it be nice if we knew who was selling? Friday it recovered a bit on about 4 times average volume. Earnings get released on Tuesday.

If I was going to risk any money betting on which way it might go, my bet would be down. The trend is down, I never get to pick bottoms correctly and Companies don’t usually shuffle management when things are going good.

That being said you should be aware that I seem to be a very good contrary indicator. I’m usually only guess right when I don’t have any money on the line. Yes I’m not betting on this one.
