Either we stop him or we don't. We must take action to stop him and liberate the people of the region, creating an opportunity for self government; or we take no action which strengthens his entrenched oppressive regime. The no action choice then becomes a choice to support his rule and his type of tyranny in the world.

The opportunity to act was presented in 1990. Senior acted on the opportunity then. If he had not the world today would be a very different place with Saddam controlling the oil economy and moving his agenda of world domination forward. When Senior did not finish the job and remove him from power all together, Saddam declared it a victory. He continues in dictatorial and despotic rule as a result. He has been crippled by the United States sanctions of the 90's.

The anti war people need to get off the anti rhetoric and stand up for what they do want to happen. If you want despotic, murderous, tyranny in the world to be tolerated...say it up front. It is not something that is satisfied by being confined to political borders, so you must also stand up and support these dictators in their expansionist dreams to become world emporers. Unless you have a specific plan of action to stop them, that is what you will have.
