France is not the issue.

I have to say France really is becoming the issue. I'm anti-war but I'm even more anti-France. Did you see Andy Rooney's piece on 60 mins last night? He pretty much nailed it, France lost their right to have an opinion on matters of war when they layed down to the Germans in less than an hour in WWII, and waited for the allies to bail them out. A bunch of french celebrities buddied up to the Germans too- Maurice Chevalier and Coco Chanel etc. right out in the open. There was a famous member of the french resistance, Josephine whatever (that topless dancer from the french revues in the 20s)- but she was an American who went to France to escape segregation. The french seem to have no honor, no courage and no willingness to fight for their beliefs or way of life if you ask me. The WWII veterans who were against any war with Iraq are less opposed now... imo this very vocal position of the French contributes to it.
